Kowloon Waterfront or Dodge A Tourist (8km)

Location: Clock Tower, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
If you are 'stuck' in Kowloon then running options become more limited.  This one, whilst in practice ideal, is probably going to drive you nuts.  Still, any run is better than no run, right?

In essence what you get is the full gamut of the Hong Kong skyline.  Run at any time and it is pretty impressive, more so at night as the whole thing is lit up.  In reality, because of that skyline you are going to need to keep your eye out for tourists and a myriad of selfie sticks, itinerant vendors and to occasional piece of traffic, at least until you get to Hung Hom and beyond the Avenue of Stars where the tourists should disappear.

To make this run worthwhile it is done as an out and back.  It starts at the old Kowloon Railway Clock Tower and cuts down to the waterfront, along the Avenue of Stars and then, breath, the more tourist freeTsim Sha Tsui Promenade.  Keep going, the Hung Hom bypass is next to you until you get the Harbourfront Horizon Hotel, where you can take a right and cut back down to the water and go all the way out to Laguna Verde.  The road ends after Block 8.  Turn on your tail and head back to TST proper.
Distance: 8km
Type: Out and Back
Traffic: Technically, no
Refreshments: Options along the way and back at the Star Ferry Terminal in TST
Getting There: TST station for the MTR.  Plenty of buses terminate at the Star Ferry Terminal.  Star Ferry from HK Island (if you must leave the Island to try it!)
